Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Assuming the State of Ihram on the Day of al-Tarwiyah (8th of Dhu al-Hajjah) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ سُلَيْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠َتَى أُلَبِّي بِالْحَجِّ فَقَالَ إِذَا خَرَجْتَ إِلَى ٠َّ قَالَ إِذَا جَعَلْتَ شِعْبَ دُبٍّ عَلَى يَ٠ِينِكَ وَالْعَقَبَةَ عَنْ يَسَارِكَ فَلَبِّ بِالْحَجِّ.

Then he (the Imam) said, ‘When you reach the point where you find Shi‘b Dubb on your right and al-‘Aqabah on your left, then commence saying Talbiyah for al-Hajj.’” (Fatwa best explains this hadith and the following chapters). جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (18/108))
