Abu Ali al-Ashâariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn âAbd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âI once asked abu Ibrahim (a.s.), about a man who is ill; if pebbles on al-Jamar can be thrown on his behalf. He (the Imam) said, âYes, he must be taken to al-Jamar and then pebbles are thrown on his behalf.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (18/155))
