Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from in a marfuâ manner the following: âOnce a man came to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and said, âO Messenger of Allah, I do not have the means to get married and I complain before you against living unmarried/ He (the Messenger of Allah), said, âAllow the hairs of your body to grow long and continue fasting/ He did as was told to do and the urge to satisfy his sexual desire vanished.ââ Ø±ÙÙØ¹ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (20/420))
