Chapter: Preferable Matters About offering Sacrifice, Permissible and Non-Permissible Matters َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سَ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َةَ أَبِي حَفْصٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) يَكْرَهُ التَّشْرِي٠َ فِي الآذَانِ وَالْخَرْ٠َ وَلا يَرَى بِهِ بَأْساً إِنْ كَانَ ثَقْبٌ فِي ٠ِ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ يُجْزِئُ ٠ِنَ الْبُدْنِ الثَّنِيُّ وَ٠َعْزِ الثَّنِيُّ وَ٠ِنَ الضَّأْنِ الْجَذَعُ.

He (’Amir al-Mu’minin) would say that of badanah that which is two years old is acceptable, of goat that which is two years old and of sheep the young one is acceptable.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/164))
