Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: Manner of Slaughtering َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) كَيْفَ تُنْحَرُ الْبَدَنَةُ فَقَالَ تُنْحَرُ وَهِيَ قَائِ٠ِنْ قِبَلِ الْيَ٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il from Muhammad ibn al-Fadl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about how a badanah is slaughtered.
