Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Pulpit, al-Rawdah and the Station of the Holy Prophet, O Allah grant salawat (favors and compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) الصَّلاةُ فِي بَيْتِ فَاطِ٠َةَ (عَلَيْها السَّلاَ٠) أَفْضَلُ أَوْ فِي الرَّوْضَةِ قَالَ فِي بَيْتِ فَاطِ٠13.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Yunus ibn Ya’qub who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Is performing salat (prayer) in the house of Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, more virtuous or in al-Rawdah?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Performing salat (prayer) in the house of Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, is more virtuous.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/269))
