Al-Kāfi - The Book of Jihad (Serving in the Army) Chapter: Virtue and Excellence of Serving in the Army 13- وَبِهَذَا الإسْنَادِ أَنَّ أَبَا دُجَانَةَ الأنْصَارِيَّ اعْتَ٠َةٍ لَهُ وَأَرْخَى عَذَبَةَ الْعِ٠َةِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ حَتَّى جَعَلَ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَ٠ِشْيَةٌ يُبْغِضُهَا اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلا عِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ.

The Messenger of Allah said, ‘This is a kind of walking that Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, dislikes very much except during fighting for the cause of Allah.” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/330))
