Al-Kāfi - The Book of Jihad (Serving in the Army) َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ خَيْثَ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لا يُهْزَ٠ُ جَيْشُ عَشَرَةِ آلافٍ ٠2.

Muhammad ibn Ahmad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Fudayl ibn Khaytham who has narrated the following: Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘An army of ten thousand cannot be defeated because of its size.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (8/383))
