Al-Kāfi - The Book of Jihad (Serving in the Army) Chapter: The Case of those who Displease the Creator to Please the Creatures 2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ٠َنْ أَرْضَى سُلْطَاناً بِسَخَطِ اللهِ خَرَجَ عَنْ دِينِ الإسْلا٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “The Messenger of Allah (sw) has said, 'If one pleases a Sultan (king) at the expense of Allah's anger, he has left the religion of Islam.'” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (18/411))
