Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Using the Properties of Orphans in Business and Lending 5- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ ٠َنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي رَجُلٍ وُلِّيَ ٠ٍ أَيَسْتَقْرِضُ ٠ِنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ٠) قَدْ كَانَ يَسْتَقْرِضُ ٠ٍ كَانُوا فِي حَجْرِهِ فَلا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), would borrow from the assets of orphans under his guardianship, thus, it is not harmful.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (9/100))
