Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muâallaâ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban from those who narrated to him who has said the following: âA man once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man in whose hands and feet cracks appear while he is in the state of Ihram; if he can use medicine.
He (the Imam) said, âYes, he can do so with oil and ghee.â He (the Imam) said, âIf one in the state of Ihram becomes ill, one must treat the illness with what is lawful for him to eat in the state of Ihram.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (7/318))
