3.Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muâallaâ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn al-Washshaâ who has said the following: âI once asked al-Ridaâ (a.s.), âIs buying dates permissible when they are formed?â He (the Imam) replied, âIt is permissible when they Yazhu.â I then asked, âWhat is Yazhu?â He (the Imam) replied, âIt is when they turn red, yellow and so on.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/173))
