Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Muâallaâ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban ibn âUthman from Muhammad who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âI do not like the sale of ten for eleven and ten for twelve and so on.
I sell for so and so (fixed price) in the form of Musawamah (fixed price regardless of capital).â He (the Imam) then said, âOnce goods from Egypt came for me and I disliked selling it in that way ( Murabahah (capital plus profit)) and it seemed greatly heavy, so I sold it in the form of Musawamah (fixed price regardless of capital).ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/216))
