Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: âAbout the case of a man who bought a slave-girl and did sexual intercourse, abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, Tf he found a defect, he could not return her but ask for what the defect had reduced from her price.â I then asked, âIs this how Ali (a.s.), had judged?â He (the Imam) said, âYes, this is the way Ali (a.s.), had judged.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (19/243))
