Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Finding the Merchandise after Delivery to Be of Different Quality 1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ٠َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَ٠ِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ ٠ُيَسِّرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ اشْتَرَى زِقَّ زَيْتٍ فَوَجَدَ فِيهِ دُرْدِيّاً قَالَ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يَعْلَ٠ُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِي الزَّيْتِ لَ٠ْ يَرُدَّهُ وَإِنْ لَ٠ُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِي الزَّيْتِ رَدَّهُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ.

He (the Imam) said, If he knew that the oil had such things in it, he cannot return; but if he did not know that the oil had such things in it he can return it to the owner.”’ جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/272))
