Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Security Deposit ( Al-Rahn ) Mortgage 13- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْ٠ُغِيرَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فِي كُلِّ رَهْنٍ لَهُ غَلَّةٌ أَنَّ غَلَّتَهُ تُحْسَبُ لِصَاحِبِ الرَّهْنِ ٠13.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘ Abd Allah ibn af-Mughirah from ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin had issued a judgment that said, ‘Whoever leaves an income-producing al-Rahn (security deposit), such income is counted in favor of the owner of al-Rahn (security deposit) against what he owes.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/281))
