Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Using Labors of Al-‘Aluj (infidel) for Free ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ النُّزُولُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْخَرَاجِ ثَلاثَةُ أَيَّا٠4.

A number of our people have narrated from and Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The duration of stay to demand al-Kharaj (taxes) from people of al-Kharaj is three days.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/380))
