Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Asking for Reduction of Price After Concluding a Deal 1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ الْكَرْخِيِّ قَالَ اشْتَرَيْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َّا ذَهَبْتُ أَنْقُدُهُ٠َ قُلْتُ أَسْتَحِطُّهُ٠ْ قَالَ لا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) نَهَى عَنِ الاسْتِحْطَاطِ بَعْدَ الصَّفْقَةِ.

5 He (the Imam) said, ‘No, because the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, prohibited asking for reduction after the deal is finalized.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (19/383))
