A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from Wahab who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that âAmir al-Muâminin has said, âIf one uses the services of the slave of a people and causes damage to him, he is responsible.
If one uses the works of a small free person and causes damage to that person, he is responsible.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (9/413))
