Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠) قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ اشْتَرَيْتُ جَارِيَةً ٠ِنْ غَيْرِ رِشْدَةٍ فَوَقَعَتْ ٠َوْقِعٍ فَقَالَ سَلْ عَنْ أُ٠َنْ كَانَتْ فَسَلْهُ يُحَلِّلِ الْفَاعِلَ بِأُ٠َا فَعَلَ لِيَطِيبَ الْوَلَدُ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘Ask her mother who her father is; then ask the one involved with her mother to make it lawful for you so that the child will be born fine.’” (According to the footnote it may not work properly).”’ رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/413))
