Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from Zurarah who has said the following: âI once said to abu Jaâfar (a.s.), âI am afraid that my getting married to one who does not believe as I do is not lawful. He (the Imam) said, âYour marriage with a simple-minded woman is not unlawful. 5 I then asked, âWho is a simple-minded one?
He (the Imam) said, âThey are those who are weak and who are not hostile (to âATmmah) and do not know what you believe in.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (0/51))
