3.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu âAbd Allah from his father from Khalaf ibn Hammad from ibn Ribâiy ibn âAbd Allah from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIf a man marries a woman and does not tell his soul to pay her mahr (dower) it is fornication.ââ ØµØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (0/115))
