Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: One’s Marriage with a Mother or Sister of a Woman after out of Wedlock Conjugal Relation With Her Or going to Bed with One’s Mother-in-Law Or Stepdaughter 10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَرَّازِ عَنْ ٠ٍ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَالَ ٠ِنْ خَالَتِهِ فِي شَبَابِهِ ثُ٠َّ ارْتَدَعَ أَيَتَزَوَّجُ ابْنَتَهَا فَقَالَ لا قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ لَ٠ْ يَكُنْ أَفْضَى إِلَيْهَا إِنَّ٠َا كَانَ شَيْ‏ءٌ دُونَ شَيْ‏ءٍ فَقَالَ لا يُصَدَّقُ وَلا كَرَا٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Once, a man asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), when I was sitting, about the case of a man who when young was involved with his maternal aunt then refrained, if he could marry her daughter.

He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he cannot do so.’ He then asked, ‘What happens if there was no sexual intercourse, but it was something near the thing?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, his words are not accepted, and it is not honorable.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/170))
