Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Legalizing a Divorced Woman to Her Husband 1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ ٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ ا٠ْرَأَتَهُ ثَلاثاً ثُ٠َتَّعَ فِيهَا رَجُلٌ آخَرُ هَلْ تَحِلُّ لِلأوَّلِ قَالَ لا. 1.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja’far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about the case of a man who divorced his wife three times; then another man formed Mut‘ah with her if thereafter she can become lawful for him.

He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it ( Mut‘ah ) is not enough.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/183))
