Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ لا تُنْكَحُ الْ٠َرْأَةُ عَلَى عَ٠َّتِهَا وَلا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلا عَلَى أُخْتِهَا ٠ِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) ذَكَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ابْنَةَ حَ٠ْزَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) أَ ٠ْتَ أَنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي ٠ِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) وَعَ٠ْزَةُ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠11.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from abu ‘Ubaydah who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘You must not marry a woman as a second wife, the first being her paternal aunt, maternal aunt of breastfeeding or her sister of breastfeeding.

He (the Imam) said that Ali ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that daughter of Hamzah was mentioned before the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and he (the Messenger of Allah) said, “Do you not know that she is daughter of my brother of breastfeeding?” The Messenger of Allah and his uncle Hamzah were breastfed by one woman.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/220))
