Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: The Right of Wife on Husband 3- عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللهَ فِي الضَّعِيفَيْنِ يَعْنِي بِذَلِكَ الْيَتِي٠َ وَالنِّسَاءَ وَإِنَّ٠َا هُنَّ عَوْرَةٌ. 3.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You must maintain piety before Allah about two weak ones’- he thereby meant the orphans and women and that ‘they (women) must be treated with great privacy.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/324))
