Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Samaâah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad ibn âIsa from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that âAmir al-Muâminin (a.s.), once from the pulpit said: âDo not give in marriage to al-Hassan because he is a man who divorces very often.â A man from Hamadan stood up and said, âYes, we will give to him in marriage, by Allah, because he is the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (s.w) and the son of âAmir al-Muâminin (a.s.).
He may keep if he likes or divorce if he so wills.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/96))
