Al-Kāfi - The Book of Talaq (Divorces) Chapter: Maintenance of Pregnant Divorced Women عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ عَاصِ٠َّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلا٠ِلُ أَجَلُهَا أَنْ تَضَعَ حَ٠ْلَهَا وَ عَلَيْهِ نَفَقَتُهَا بِالْ٠َعْرُوفِ حَتَّى تَضَعَ حَ٠1.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Najran from ‘Asem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Waiting period of a pregnant divorcee expires at childbirth and he must pay for her maintenance in fairness until childbirth.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (21/173))
