Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards

Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only.

One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it: وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَهَ عَنْ حَ٠َرِ بْنِ یَحْیَی وَ زُرَارَهَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع لَا صَلَاهَ یَوْ٠َ الْفِطْرِ وَ الْأَضْحَی إِلَّا ٠3.

Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) says, “Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-e-Qurbaan can be offered only in congregation.”
