2.Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr, from âUmar ibn âUdhaynah, from Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim and Burayd ibn Muâawiyah ibn âAmmar who has narrated the following: âAbout the case of one who is absent if he divorces his wife abu Jaâfar (a.s.), has said, âShe must commence her âIddah (waiting period) from the day he has divorced her.ââ ØØ³Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/189))
