Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Samaâah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that in al-Mubarat (disavowing) a woman says to her husband, âYou can have whatever you owe to me and free me (from the bonds of marriage).
He then sets her free (from the bonds of marriage).â I (the narrator) then asked, âWill he then say to her, "If you demand anything back then I will have more right than anyone else to have you as my wifeâ?â He (the Imam) said, âYes, he can say so.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/240))
