Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Muâawiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who says to his wife that she is like the back of his mother to him. He (the Imam) said, âThe expiation for it is setting free of a slave or fasting for two consecutive months or feeding sixty destitute people.
For freeing a slave, a child born in Islam is sufficient.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/263))
