Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from âAbd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from âAsem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: âAbu Jaâfar (a.s.), has said, âWhat is killed by dogs trained for hunting and the name of Allah is mentioned, you can use it for food, and what is killed by dogs not trained before and before you arrive to slaughter properly, then do not use it for food.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/337))
