Al-Kāfi - The Book of Hunting

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) وَ ذَكَرَ الطَّافِيَ وَ ٠َا يَكْرَهُ النَّاسُ ٠ِنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ٠َكْرُوهُ وَ هُوَ ٠َا يَتَغَيَّرُ رَائِحَتُهُ. 18.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Once, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), mentioned fish which floats on water and what people dislike. He (the Imam) said, ‘The fish floating on the water are disliked because their smell has changed.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/362))
