Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from âIsmaâil ibn Marrar from âAâimmah, âAlayhim al-Salam, who has said the following: âHe (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, âIn the edible animals like camels, cows, sheep and others certain items are not edible.
Of such items are genitals, the apparent and unapparent parts, the penis and testicles, the womb which is the place of the development of the young, the spleen because it is blood, the glands with veins and marrow and that which is in the back, the gallbladder, the eyeball, the gland which is situated near the brain, and blood.ââ جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/47))
