Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn âIsa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from âIsmaâil ibn âUmar from Shuâayb who has said the following: âIt is about the case of a man who enters a town where he finds a certain amount of meat, but does not know if it is clean (properly slaughtered) or from dead animals. He (the Imam) said, âHe can throw it on fire.
If it shrinks it is clean (properly slaughtered) but if expands it is from dead animals.ââ ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/57))
