Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

Chapter: The Child of Adam is Hollow; thus He must Eat Food عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَا٠ٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَلَقَ ابْنَ آدَ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has created the child of Adam hollow.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/98))
