Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْخَشَّابِ عَنِ ابْنِ بَقَّاحٍ عَنْ عَ٠َيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَلْطَعُ الْقَصْعَةَ وَ يَقُولُ ٠َنْ لَطَعَ قَصْعَةً فَكَأَنَّ٠4.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Khashshab from ibn Baqqah from ‘Amr ibn Jami’ who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah, when eating would wipe the dish clean and say, “Whoever, wipes the dish clean is as if has given charity as much.’”” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/113))
