Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِذَا بَلَغَ الرَّجُلُ خَ٠ْسِينَ سَنَةً فَلَا يَبِيتَنَّ وَ فِي جَوْفِهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a man becomes fifty years old he must not go to sleep with an amount of ghee in his stomach.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/166))
