Al-Kāfi - The Book of Drinks

Chapter: Drinking Water Standing and Drinking it in One Breath ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْعَرْزَ٠َدِينِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ِنِينَ ( عليه السلا٠) كَانَ يَشْرَبُ الْ٠َاءَ وَ هُوَ قَائِ٠ِنْ فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهِ قَائِ٠َّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلا٠) فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ جَدَّكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) صَنَعَ هَكَذَا.

He then drank the water left from his wudu standing; then he turned to Al-Husayn (a.s.), and said, ‘Son, I saw your grandfather, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, doing as I just did.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/233))
