Chapter: The Utensils, Pots, Pans, Bowls and Cups ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ لَا يَنْبَغِي الشُّرْبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَ لَا الْفِضَّةِ. 3.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not proper to drink water with bowl made of gold or silver.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/235))
