Al-Kāfi - The Book of Drinks

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ ٠ْرِ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ كَعَابِدِ وَثَنٍ. 3.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘A wine addict will meet Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, when he will meet Him, as a worshipper of idols will do.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/261))
