Al-Kāfi - The Book of Drinks

Chapter: Al-Tila’ (The One-Third Juice (grape juice) that has Remained after the Evaporation of the other Two-Thirds) الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِذَا شَرِبَ الرَّجُلُ النَّبِيذَ الْ٠ُورَ فَلَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهُ فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ ٠ِنَ الْأَشْرِبَةِ وَ لَوْ كَانَ يَصِفُ ٠8.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Bakr ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Ya‘fur who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one drinks intoxicating al-Nabidh his testimony is not acceptable in any of the drinks, even if he believes in what you believe.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/284))
