1.A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Mansur ibn al-âAbbas from Jaâfar ibn Ahmad al-Makfuf who has said the following: âI once wrote to him, meaning, abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal, âAlayhim al-Salam, and asked about oxymel, rose water, jam of mulberry, apple, quince and pomegranate.
