Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Beautification and Showing the Bounty ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ بَلَغَ أَ٠ِنِينَ ( عليه السلا٠) أَنَّ طَلْحَةَ وَ الزُّبَيْرَ يَقُولَانِ لَيْسَ لِعَلِيٍّ ٠َالٌ قَالَ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَ٠َرَ وُكَلَاءَهُ أَنْ يَجْ٠َعُوا غَلَّتَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا حَالَ الْحَوْلُ أَتَوْهُ وَ قَدْ جَ٠ِائَةَ أَلْفِ دِرْهَ٠ٍفَنُشِرَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى طَلْحَةَ وَ الزُّبَيْرِ فَأَتَيَاهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ٠َالُ وَ اللَّهِ لِي لَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ فِيهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ وَ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ٠ُصَدَّقاً قَالَ فَخَرَجَا ٠ِنْ عِنْدِهِ وَ هُ٠َا يَقُولَانِ إِنَّ لَهُ لَ٠11.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Faddal all from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from abu Basir who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu 5 minin (a.s.), was informed that Talhah and Zubayr say, ‘Ali has no assets. 5 He (the Imam) said, ‘It troubled him and he commanded his agents to collect his share of grains. They followed his instruction until the end of the year, then they brought it to him and it was worth one hundred thousand dirhams.

It was spread before him. He sent for Talhah and Zubayr. When they came he told them, “This asset by Allah belongs to me and no one has any share in it. 55 They had proof to verify it and they left saying, “He in fact does have assets. 55 5 55 وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/314))
