Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلا٠) يَقُولُ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلا٠) يَلْبَسُ ثَوْبَيْنِ فِي الصَّيْفِ يُشْتَرَيَانِ بِخَ٠5.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ who has said the following: “I once heard al-Rida’ (a.s.), saying, ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, would buy two dresses for summer, each valued at five hundred dirhams.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/316))
