Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Wearing Silk and al-Dibaj (Silk Brocade) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ النِّسَاءُ يَلْبَسْنَ الْحَرِيرَ وَ الدِّيبَاجَ إِلَّا فِي الْإِحْرَا٠8.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from certain persons of our people who have said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Women can wear silk garments decorated with embroideries, except in the state of Ihram.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/334))
