Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ كَانَ نَعْلُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ قَائِ٠َتُهُ فِضَّةً وَ كَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ حَلَقٌ ٠ِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَ لَبِسْتُ دِرْعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَكُنْتُ أَسْحَبُهَا وَ فِيهَا ثَلَاثُ حَلَقَاتِ فِضَّةٍ ٠ِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهَا وَ ثِنْتَانِ ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Nad (the end of the sheath) al-Qa’imah (the handle) of the sword of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, was of silver and in between there were rings of silver. I once wore the armor of the Messenger of Allah and I trailed it on the ground.
