A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from âIsmaâil ibn Mehran from âAbd Allah ibn al- Mughirah who has said the following: âI once heard abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), saying, âOnce a man asked abu Jaâfar (a.s.), if a man can sit on a furnishing which has pictures of things on it.
He (the Imam) said, âAl-âAâajim (non- Arab) respect it, but we do not consider it important.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/368))
