Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness ن أصحابنا، عن سهل بن زياد، عن ٠نصور بن العباس، عن ح٠زة بن عبدالله، عن ربعي، عن عبيد الله الدابقي قال: دخلت ح٠دينة فإذا شيخ كبيرو هو قي٠؟ فقال: لابي جعفر ٠د بن علي بن الحسين عليه٠فقلت: كان يدخله؟ قال: نع٠، فقلت: كيف كان يصنع؟ قال: كان يدخل فيبدء فيطلي عانته و٠يلف على طرف إحليله ويدعوني فاطلي سائر بدنه، فقلت له يوÙ: الذي تكره أن أراه قد رأيته، فقال: كلا إن النورة سترة.

I asked, ‘O Shaykh to whom does this bathhouse belong?’ He replied, ‘It belongs to abu Ja‘far, Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam.’ I then asked, ‘Did he use it?’ He replied, ‘Yes, he did.’ I then asked, ’How would he use it?’ He said, ’First he applied lime to his pubic region and the surrounding area and to his urethra then he would call me to apply to the other parts of his body.’ I then asked, ‘Did you ever see what you do not like to see?
